Waffle Baby Sleep Bag 1.0 TOG in TENCEL™ Lyocell - Lavender
Cool-room sleep, solved with structure instead of weight.
Pure lavender solid — texture without visual noise.
Same year-round 1.0 TOG warmth as our flagship sleep bag, knit on a waffle weave that traps a thin layer of air against the skin. It's built for a 21–24°C nursery, with a little more texture than the smooth version.
Why waffle. The waffle weave traps a thin layer of air against the skin, so the bag reads a touch warmer and a lot more textured than the smooth version — same fiber, same safe-sleep cut.
Material. A waffle-knit TENCEL™ Lyocell shell over a light layer of DuPont™ Sorona insulation. The waffle holds a thin layer of air against the skin, so it reads a touch warmer than the smooth 1.0 TOG. TENCEL™ is Lenzing's closed-loop wood-pulp fiber, certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
The print. True lavender solid, no pattern. The option for parents who want a soft colour but not a print.
Construction. Sleeveless on purpose, so your baby sheds heat instead of trapping it. A two-way zipper runs the length of the bag, so a midnight diaper change takes seconds and wakes nobody. The neck and arm openings are bound in soft fabric, not scratchy serged edges, and cut snug — the part that matters most for safe sleep.
Adjacent TOGs in the same print. Room running warm? The 0.5 TOG Muslin Sleep Bag in Lavender covers 24–27°C summer nurseries. Cold nursery in winter? The 2.5 TOG TENCEL™ Sleep Bag picks up at 16–20°C.
Sizing. 0–6M (3.6–8.2 kg / 8–18 lb), 6–18M (8.2–12.7 kg / 18–28 lb), 18–36M (12.7–17.2 kg / 28–38 lb).
Care. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. The waffle texture relaxes in the wash and springs back in the dryer. Don't bleach, and don't iron the printed areas.
Safety & certification. Tested to Health Canada's Textile Flammability Regulations, and to CPSIA and ASTM standards. The material is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and Loulou Lollipop is a Certified B Corporation.
Common questions
Why TENCEL™ for this sleep bag instead of muslin?
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a wood-pulp fiber spun in a closed-loop process. It pulls moisture off the skin quickly and stays soft and keeps its look through repeated washing, so we use it in our year-round 1.0 and 2.5 TOG sleep bags, the ones that get washed most. For the lightest warm-weather layers, you might want our products made with Tanboocel® Bamboo Viscose — like the 0.5 TOG sleep bags, swaddles, and crib sheets.
What TOG rating should my baby wear?
Match the TOG to the room. 0.5 TOG for 24–27°C. 1.0 TOG for 21–24°C, the most common nursery temperature in Canada. 2.5 TOG for 16–20°C cold nurseries. A nursery thermometer removes the guesswork.
What should baby wear under a 1.0 TOG sleep sack?
A short-sleeve bodysuit at the top end of the range (23–24°C), a long-sleeve bodysuit in the middle (21–23°C), or a sleeper at the cool end (21°C). The TOG rating gives you the main warmth; what your baby wears underneath lets you fine-tune from there.
