During the summer of 2017, I watched three barred owl babies grow up in my back yard and I made this print in celebration of them. Before printing the green block, the details underneath were hand-painted.\\n\\nThis print makes a great gift for nature lovers of all types! Its soft, but vibrant hues will fit in with almost any interior color palettes and it will certainly catch the eye of any passerby! \\n\\nORIGINAL RELIEF PRINT\\nIn relief printmaking, an artist applies ink to a hand-carved block and then burnishes the inked relief onto a piece of paper. Multiple originals are possible by re-inking the carved surface and burnishing the relief onto a new piece of paper. The total number of identical prints is the edition number.\\n\\nPRODUCT DETAILS\\nPrinted by hand with soy-based ink on quality 280 lb. paper. The acid-free, archival paper ensures the original block print will last a lifetime for generations to enjoy. Each print is presented in an archival, 100% alpha cellulose mat with a backing board.
